Yuletide 2023 is happening soon, for anybody who wants to get more involved in metafandom fic exchanges.

Yuletide is an annual event run through Ao3, where each person makes a request for a fic with at least 1000 words, with the characters of their choice, in a small fandom that has less than 1000 unique works in it on Ao3. People are matched so that everybody writes a fic requested by someone else and gets a fic based on their request. Pact, Pale, and Twig are all eligible. Participants have between October and December to write the fic.

In other words, you can potentially make people write more Reid Musser or Charles Abrams, for those who like that sort of thing.

If you're interested in learning more, yuletide_admin is the main coordinating hub for this. The Ao3 collection Yuletide 2022 shows last year's results for this.
