What Otherverse stuff have you been reading that you want to share with others?

This is another early stage experiment. Dreamwidth doesn't have content promotion algorithms or good searchability, so there is a strong culture of posters linking interesting things they have found to each other. In addition, a lot of fanfic spaces have areas set aside for discussing existing fic. Combine that together, and that suggests a structure for a recurring discussion area for swapping recommendations with each other.

Types of things to rec here: Otherverse-related fic or meta that you found funny, heartwarming, scary, awesome, or thought provoking, or things that you wrote and want to promote. At the moment, it doesn't need to be hosted on the BHTN or be strictly focused on canon characters to be linked here.

The goal of this thread is to provide people a place to talk that isn't a full-on fic or meta essay, while also reducing the amount of clutter in the main area. How exactly things work here will be in a state of flux over the next few months, since norms are still being developed and I'm waiting to see how this space actually gets used once there are people in it.

For now, I plan to keep this thread open until end of June or end of July, and then make another as a monthly thing.

Now that I've rambled on about this, time to kick it over to you all. Some things that I'm curious about:

• What things do you want to see in Pale fanfic? Any ideas you're working on?
• How readable is this site to other people, especially on mobile?
• How did you hear about this site?
